Work Environment

The work environment at Retain Physical Therapy is characterized by a supportive and collaborative team culture. Our clinic operates during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your specific responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories and performing specialized assessments to identify appropriate treatment plans.

• Implementing and modifying treatment protocols based on patient responses and evaluations, ensuring that care is relevant and effective.

• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and emerging needs, documenting changes in condition that may require alterations to the plan of care.

• Accurately documenting patient care activities, including evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge planning, in compliance with state, federal, and corporate regulations.

• Providing patient education regarding their conditions and treatment modalities, promoting understanding and adherence to prescribed therapeutic exercises.

• Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to ongoing clinical discussions aimed at improving patient care and operational efficiencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will predominantly focus on patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will be a critical part of their recovery process, utilizing both traditional and innovative techniques tailored to each individual's lifestyle and goals. Building rapport with patients and their families while maintaining clear communication is essential to fostering trust and enhancing treatment efficacy.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.

• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association are mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient orthopedics, is preferred to ensure familiarity with common conditions and treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
