Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities, limitations, and goals, leading to the development of personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various modalities tailored to geriatrics.
  • Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving patient needs to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Engage in active collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to provide integrated patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention.
  • Establish fall prevention measures within the rehabilitation facility to enhance safety for residents.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy best practices and commit to ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities.
  • Maintain professional ethics and confidentiality, ensuring adherence to all regulations and organizational standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
