Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing a variety of evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with colleagues to enhance the quality of care and address clients’ complex needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring a complete paper trail for effective client management.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with emerging research and best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Restoration Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client population facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Your role will be to provide support to clients at different stages of their mental health journeys, helping them navigate their unique paths toward healing and progress.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, with a preference for those who have worked in a telehealth capacity.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines related to counseling practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect effectively with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and other digital tools required for virtual counseling sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in specialty areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment.
• A proven track record of successful collaboration within a healthcare team, demonstrating the ability to contribute to comprehensive client care.
