The LCSW will play a critical role in fostering healthy relationships with clients while using evidence-based strategies to address mental health challenges.

About the Organization

Located in Phoenix, Arizona, Restoration Counseling is committed to enhancing the well-being of our community through accessible, high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services. Our mission focuses on serving medically underserved populations, ensuring that each individual receives care regardless of their ability to pay. We strive to set an example for other health centers, actively engaging with the communities we serve to promote mental health awareness and support.

Work Environment

This remote role allows for flexibility while working within a community health clinic framework. The LCSW will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including fellow social workers, psychologists, and community health professionals, all dedicated to advancing mental health services. You will interact with clients primarily via telehealth, ensuring accessibility and comfort while maintaining a high quality of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinically engage in therapy sessions, both in office settings and the community, to provide individualized treatment for clients managing major mental health disorders and emotional difficulties.
  • Participate actively as a team member to achieve collective goals through collaboration and shared accountability.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive, client-centered care plans, facilitating access to various health and social services.
  • Utilize appropriate assessment tools to conduct initial screenings and determine subsequent care needs for diverse client populations.
  • Assist in crisis intervention services, employing de-escalation techniques while ensuring client safety and comfort.
  • Maintain ethical standards and compliance with organizational policies and procedures while engaging with clients, families, and community partners.
  • Document client progress, treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions accurately, ensuring timely submissions and adherence to reporting requirements.
  • Identify and take proactive measures to mitigate safety concerns within the virtual/client environments, contributing to a secure therapeutic space.
  • Participate in quality improvement committees to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will primarily serve a diverse clientele, many of whom are from low-income backgrounds facing systemic barriers to accessing mental health care. By employing culturally sensitive therapeutic approaches, the LCSW will work to empower clients by addressing their unique needs, supporting them on their journey toward mental wellness.

Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Arizona.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for clients experiencing complex mental health conditions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, allowing for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
  • Cultural competency to work respectfully and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills combined with a capacity for managing multiple client caseloads efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred, with a focus on therapeutic practices related to mental health and crisis intervention.
  • Previous work in community health settings or with underserved populations is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology utilized for remote therapy.
