Response Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a full-time onsite Print Production Designer for our Tysons Corner office. Starting salary is $60,000 or commensurate with experience. Flexible scheduling available. Portfolio required.

Responsibilities

• Create print-ready files using Adobe InDesign and export production-ready PDFs
• Prepare and organize files for commercial printing and direct mail production
• Manage projects from design through prepress and final production
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with in-house print production staff and internal teams
• Ensure files meet USPS/mail specifications and production requirements
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
• Review files carefully to minimize production corrections and errors
• Work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization
• Occasionally create or update logos and graphic elements as needed

Requirements / Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Acrobat
• Working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop preferred
• Strong prepress and print production knowledge
• Knowledge of standard graphic file formats and their appropriate use (PDF, JPEG, TIFF, PSD, EPS, etc.)
• Knowledge of digital and offset printing processes
• Knowledge of two-color and four-color printing processes
• Understanding of color separations and print production workflows
• Direct mail production and USPS/mail specification knowledge a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
• Experience working in a PC environment preferred
