Job Description:
Respect Behavior Therapy is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to provide in-home ABA services to adult clients with developmental disabilities. This is a position offering flexible hours and meaningful, rewarding work in a supportive environment. Services are rendered in the community, adult daycare, and the client's home.
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) with relevant experience are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Work 1:1 with adult clients in their homes, implementing individualized behavior support plans
- Follow programs designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on behaviors and skill acquisition
- Collaborate with families and supervisors to ensure consistent and effective service delivery
- Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience as a Behavior Technician or Direct Support Professional (DSP) preferred
- Passion for working with individuals with disabilities
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
- Must pass background check and any state-required screenings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- RBT certification (not required but a plus)
- Experience working with adult populations in home or community settings
