Gift Shop Attendant
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gift Shop Attendant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage with visitors and provide exceptional customer service in a vibrant retail environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting gifts and souvenirs
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gift shop
- Restock shelves and ensure products are well-presented
- Provide information about products, promotions, and store policies
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management
- Uphold safety and security standards within the shop
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills and experience with cash handling
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous retail or sales experience is a plus
