Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking a fulltime/perm Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of HR activities including recruitment, employee relations, attendance management, performance management, and HR administration.

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and orientation activities.
- Support employee relations, performance management, investigations, and corrective action processes.
- Administer attendance management, disability claims, workplace accommodations, and return-to-work programs.
- Maintain employee records, HR systems, and reporting while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Support payroll, benefits, compensation, and employee inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Partner with leaders on workforce planning, employee engagement, training, and organizational development initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a Generalist role.
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, attendance management, and HR administration.
- Knowledge of Ontario employment legislation, including the Employment Standards Act (ESA).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Manufacturing experience and/or CHRP designation is considered an asset.
