We’re currently seeking an experienced Architectural Drafter to join our in-house design team.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter with 3–5 years of experience, strong proficiency in Revit, and solid working knowledge of the Florida Building Codes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential construction drafting, and prior involvement in custom home design is highly preferred.
This position is 100% on-site at our Tampa office. Remote work is not available.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter with 3–5 years of experience, strong proficiency in Revit, and solid working knowledge of the Florida Building Codes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential construction drafting, and prior involvement in custom home design is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate architectural drawings, construction documents, and detailed plans using Revit
- Interpret redlines and work closely with designers, engineers, and permitting agencies
- Ensure all plans comply with Florida Building Codes and local jurisdictional requirements
- Assist in plan revisions, shop drawing reviews, and coordination with consultants and subcontractors
- Maintain organized drawing sets, project files, and version control
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate project requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Revise and update drawings as needed, ensuring all modifications meet client and regulatory standards.
- Conduct code analysis and incorporate relevant requirements into project documentation.
- Support project milestones by meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of architectural drafting experience in residential construction
- Associate degree or equivalent in Architecture, Drafting, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Revit (AutoCAD experience is a plus)
- Solid understanding of Florida Building Codes
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and permit requirements
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with construction documentation standards and detailing practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in architectural drafting or building codes.
- Experience with 3D rendering software or building information modeling (BIM).
- Experience with custom homes is highly preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
