Key Responsibilities Support the Executive Chef in planning, creating, and executing menus Supervise the culinary team and ensure continuity in the Chef’s absence Maintain consistency and quality according to Marriott culinary standards Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations (MAPAQ) Manage inventory, cost control, and operational efficiency Train, coach, and inspire team members Participate in special events, buffets, banquets, and culinary initiatives Provide excellent internal service to other departments (banquets, sales, front desk, etc.) Profile Sought Significant experience in a professional kitchen environment Positive leadership and ability to motivate a diverse team Strong organization, creativity, precision, and attention to detail Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong customer-service orientation and high quality standards Requirements Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) Availability for a variety of shifts (days, evenings, weekends) Professionalism, autonomy, rigor, and strong team spirit Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and levels of staff The masculine form is used solely to simplify the text and is not intended to be discriminatory.
