Position Overview

Renewed Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Renewed Wellness Center, you will:

• Work directly with assigned clients to assess and treat symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders.
• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and facilitate or arrange for comprehensive assessments as necessary.
• Create and implement integrated care plans, ensuring clients have access to linked essential mental health services.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, family members, and other healthcare providers to foster a collaborative approach to care delivery.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy services aimed at empowering clients to achieve their treatment goals.
• Act as a trusted team player, participating in meetings and collaborating with other mental health professionals to enhance service delivery.
• Monitor and document client progress, ensuring timely completion of reports and adherence to organizational policies.
• Assist with crisis intervention efforts, utilizing de-escalation techniques and appropriate referrals when necessary.
• Engage in quality improvement committees to continually enhance our agency's service delivery model.
• Be available for on-call coverage during and after program hours as assigned, ensuring ongoing client support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on individuals experiencing significant mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, and severe emotional distress. Working with diverse populations, you will encounter clients from various backgrounds, each with unique life experiences and cultural narratives that influence their mental health journeys. A keen understanding of these complexities will be critical in providing customized care and fostering therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

• A valid LCSW license in the state of Nevada.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field (Master's preferred).
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in social work, particularly in mental health.
• Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis management.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills to effectively document client interactions and engage in interdisciplinary collaboration.
• A demonstrated ability to work respectfully with people from diverse traditions and backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in community mental health settings, school-based interventions, or a familiarity with integrated care models are highly preferred. Additionally, proficiency in electronic health records systems will be beneficial in managing client documentation and reporting.
