Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that our facilities maintain cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage a team effectively while adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, maintenance, and inventory management.
- Lead and motivate housekeeping staff to achieve high standards of cleanliness and service.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure adherence to cleanliness and safety standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing feedback and support for professional development.
- Schedule and allocate staff assignments to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Address guest complaints and requests in a professional and timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of housekeeping activities, employee performance, and supply usage.
- Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or management is a plus.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or facility management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, as well as safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and housekeeping management software.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to [insert weight] pounds.
