Job description

RemX is partnering with a respected global logistics organization to hire a Export Operations Coordinator for their Irving, TX office. This position plays a key role in managing international and domestic freight movements, ensuring shipments are processed accurately, and providing exceptional support to customers, carriers, and internal teams.

What You'll Do
  • Coordinate the movement of freight from origin to destination while ensuring timely delivery.
  • Prepare and process shipping and export documentation, including bills of lading and customs-related paperwork.
  • Monitor shipments throughout transit and provide status updates as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment inquiries, routing, and transportation solutions.
  • Work closely with carriers, vendors, and partner offices to facilitate smooth shipment execution.
  • Verify and communicate accurate billing details to support the invoicing process.
  • Resolve shipment issues proactively and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, supply chain, or a related operations environment preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and business partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, high-volume setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to retain and apply detailed information.
