Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health conditions, using structured diagnostic tools for accurate insights.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are based on best practices and tailored to the specific needs of each client.
• Utilize effective therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to deliver high-quality individual counseling sessions.
• Regularly review and update therapeutic goals in partnership with clients, ensuring their active participation and ongoing assessment of progress towards goals.
• Offer teletherapy options via secure platforms, catering to clients who prefer virtual sessions due to accessibility challenges or personal choice.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions and therapy progress in accordance with ethical and regulatory standards.
• Advance your clinical competencies through continuous professional development opportunities and training workshops to stay current with industry trends and methodologies.

Your work at Reliant Therapy Group will directly support a diverse population of individuals facing an array of mental health issues. Qualifications

• A valid counseling license in the state of Kansas, such as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, is required.
• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude are crucial, helping clients feel understood and supported in their journeys.
• Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities to effectively manage a diverse caseload.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient mental health settings, especially in private practice, is advantageous.

• Experience providing teletherapy and utilizing digital platforms for case management will be beneficial.
