Certified Pharmacy Technician

Location: Richardson, Texas

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time (Monday – Friday)

Shift Hours: Between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1 hour lunch)

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (Long-term opportunity)

Job Summary

Reliance Healthcare Staffing is seeking We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience to join our Pediatric Pharmacy team. This is a retail-focused position where you'll play an important role in supporting patients through efficient communication and prescription processing.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Communicate with patients and parents through an SMS/text messaging platform
• Enter prescription orders accurately into the pharmacy system
• Fill prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Assist with retail pharmacy operations and patient support
• Maintain organized workflows while providing exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience with order entry and prescription filling
• Strong organizational and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients and parents via SMS/text messaging regarding prescriptions and updates
• Perform prescription order entry and accurate data input
• Fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
• Handle refill requests and support daily retail pharmacy operations
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient inquiries
• Maintain accurate records while following HIPAA and pharmacy regulations

Language: Spanish (Required)

License/Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification (Required)
