Part-time

Re-posted 26 days ago

Job description

Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | Independent Medical Assessments | Wichita Falls, TX

The IMA Group is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to perform independent medical assessments in the Wichita Falls, TX area.

This is a flexible, evaluation-based opportunity designed for providers who prefer objective assessments over ongoing therapy or treatment caseloads. The role is structured for approximately one day per month, with additional flexibility for providers who may prefer to complete about two exams per week, depending on availability.

A private office space in the Wichita Falls area is preferred. If an established office is not available, a Regus location in Wichita Falls may be used as a shared clinical space option.

Position Overview

The SLP will conduct scheduled assessments, gather relevant clinical information, review medical records, and complete structured, objective evaluation reports. This is a consultative role focused exclusively on assessment and documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech, language, cognitive-communication, and/or swallowing evaluations
  • Review and interpret medical records and supporting documentation
  • Document findings using electronic reporting systems
  • Complete clear, objective, structured assessment reports
  • Communicate professionally with support staff
Qualifications
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
  • Strong clinical evaluation and documentation skills
  • Experience with a range of communication and swallowing disorders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Office space in Wichita Falls preferred (Regus option available if needed)
Benefits
  • Highly flexible, low-volume schedule (approx. 1 day/month)
  • Option for additional exams based on availability
  • Work from your own office or Regus shared space
  • No therapy caseloads, treatment planning, or ongoing patient management
  • Administrative and operational support provided
  • Consistent, structured evaluation workflow

If you're seeking a flexible, assessment-only role that allows you to use your clinical expertise in a streamlined setting, we encourage you to apply.
