LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 240 days
POSITION SUMMARY: Provide support to the Special Student Populations component to include, but not limited to, workshop support (registration, room set-up, attendance, copying of handouts, creation of materials designed by specialists) purchasing of necessary supplies and resources, maintaining check-out libraries for assessments/technology, and providing other assistance as necessary to support the Special Student Populations Component, Education Services Department and/or the Education Services during specialized events or projects.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: High School Diploma or GED
PREFERRED: Knowledge/certification in Office Products
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three years of related job experience
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: In depth computer skills, including Microsoft. Helpful to have knowledge of Google products, Canva, Adobe Acrobat, and other office production software.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide workshop and general support to Coordinator and Specialists
Collaborate with other Support Staff to complete tasks as needed
Purchase materials and resources as requested by Coordinator and Specialists
Organize supplies and materials
Communicate with Region 17 clients to provide assistance as needed or requested
REPORTS TO: Lead Education Specialist, Special Student Populations
MINIMUM SALARY: $39,652
