Our client is a fast-growing, consumer-facing gym operator with a global footprint and an ambitious, U.S. expansion pipeline. The business is focused on delivering high-quality, accessible locations across multiple markets, with a strong emphasis on consistency, efficiency, and speed to market. Operating within a dynamic and evolving environment, the platform continues to invest heavily in new site rollouts, refurbishments, and asset enhancement programs.


The Role

This role will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of new site construction, refurbishments, and renovation programs across the portfolio. You will play a key role in managing the rollout of new locations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to brand standards.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing new site construction rollouts from pre-construction through to practical completion and handover
  • Overseeing refurbishment and renovation projects across existing locations
  • Coordinating external consultants including architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Managing project schedules, budgets, and cost reporting, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Driving value engineering initiatives while maintaining quality and brand consistency
  • Leading contractor procurement, tendering, and contract negotiations
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, regulatory, and operational standards
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders across real estate, operations, and leadership teams


This is a hands-on role offering strong ownership across a high-volume project pipeline within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.


Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in construction, project management, or development roles
  • Proven track record delivering multi-site rollouts, refurbishments, or retail/consumer environments
  • Experience managing contractors, consultants, and project teams through full delivery cycles
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, cost management, and scheduling
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively
  • Experience in retail, leisure, or multi-site environments highly preferred
