Job Title: Property Maintenance Technician (Entry-Level to Experienced)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Property Maintenance Technician to maintain and service residential/commercial properties in Mountain Brook, AL

We are open to candidates across all experience levels. If you are an entry-level candidate with a strong mechanical aptitude, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn, we will provide thorough on-the-job training. 

If you are an experienced technician with existing trade skills (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), compensation will directly reflect your expertise, and you will have the autonomy to troubleshoot and lead complex repairs.

Entry-Level / Apprentice Level:

-Perform basic property turnover and punch-list tasks (drywall patching, interior/exterior painting, hardware replacement).

-Assist with routine plumbing repairs (clearing drains, replacing faucets, rebuilding toilets).

-Handle basic electrical maintenance (replacing outlets, light switches, and light fixtures).

-Assist with grounds upkeep, filter changes, and seasonal preventative maintenance.

-Learn diagnostic procedures alongside experienced personnel.

Mid to Experienced Level:

-Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, water heaters, and major appliances.

-Troubleshoot complex electrical and plumbing issues independently.

-Coordinate make-ready turnover schedules and vendor/contractor access.

-Participate in a shared on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests.

Qualifications

-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from job sites in Mountain Brook.

-Comfort using standard hand tools and power tools safely.

-Strong problem-solving mindset, dependability, and pride in quality work.

-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on your feet throughout the day.

-Clear, professional communication with property managers and residents.
