Construction Field Lead Job Position  

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Field Lead to oversee on-site construction activities.  This is a leadership and hands-on role, perfect for an experienced tradesman who takes pride in quality workmanship and handles projects with minimal supervision.  The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of residential/commercial projects including, but not limited to, commercial offices, warehouses, residential additions, garages, kitchen & bathroom renovations, custom decks, fences, doors & windows, roofing, exterior finishes and basic electrical & plumbing skills. As a Construction Field Lead, you will be responsible for managing a small construction team, ensuring quality control and maintaining a safe and clean work environment at job sites.  In this role, communicating clearly and professionally with clients and team members along with keeping project schedules on time is essential.

Responsibilities

·       Perform general commercial & residential construction & renovation projects

·       Supervise/Lead daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely

·       Manage/oversee crew members by providing guidance, training and support to achieve project goals

·       Communicate daily with the project/owner to ensure adherence to project timelines and construction specifications

·       Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets industry standards and client expectations

·       Operate and maintain tools and equipment so they are in good working order

·       Communication effectively with team members and clients regarding project updates and any issues that arise

Qualifications

·       5+ years of verifiable hands-on experience in residential or commercial construction, repairs and remodeling

·       Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques and materials

·       Ability to read blueprints and understand contract specifications

·       Physically fit and in good health, capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.

·       Must own/possess basic construction hand tools

·       Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

·       A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with industry regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35/hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 hours per week

Schedule: 

·       10 hour shift

·       8 hour shift

·       Weekends as needed
