We are seeking a reliable, hands-on On-Site Assistant Property Manager to help support the daily operations of a residential community. This is a live-on-site position and is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping a property clean, safe, organized, and well maintained.

The Assistant Property Manager will serve as an important on-site presence for residents, vendors, and management. The right candidate will be dependable, professional, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to property-related emergencies and report urgent issues to management
  • Walk the property regularly to identify maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and operational concerns
  • Monitor pool areas for cleanliness, safety, rule compliance, and general operating conditions
  • Clean and maintain common areas, including clubhouses, restrooms, pool areas, entryways, hallways, laundry rooms, trash areas, and other shared areas
  • Coordinate with vendors when needed and report repairs requiring outside contractors
  • Help prevent avoidable property damage by identifying and communicating issues early

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in property management, facilities maintenance, apartment communities, HOA communities, hospitality, building operations, or a related field
  • Must be proficient in English
  • Willingness to live on site and serve as a regular on-site presence
  • Ability to respond to emergencies as needed, including occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and walk the property regularly
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Experience with minor maintenance and repairs strongly preferred
  • Basic plumbing, mechanical, and/or electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
  • Ability to recognize when a licensed contractor is required
