Job Description GRP Laminator Trimmer Location: Norfolk (NR16) Salary: 15.50 - 16.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (40 hours) Overtime: Available The Company We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established composites manufacturer based in Norfolk, with over 30 years' experience delivering high-quality GRP solutions across a range of industries. The business produces bespoke composite components for applications including: Marine Automotive (including aerodynamic parts) Aerospace Commercial and industrial sectors This is a small, skilled team with exciting growth plans, offering long-term stability and the chance to be part of a business on the up. The Role You'll play a key role in the production of high-quality GRP components, working across a variety of projects rather than repetitive batch work

Key responsibilities: Hand lay-up of GRP components using polyester resins and reinforcements Working from drawings, patterns, and lay-up specifications Preparing moulds (cleaning, waxing, release agents) Laminating, rolling, and consolidating materials Trimming and finishing components Carrying out quality checks to meet customer specifications Supporting production targets within a close-knit team What We're Looking For Proven experience in GRP / fibreglass hand lay laminating and trimming Experience within marine, automotive, aerospace or similar sectors Ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications Good understanding of materials, resins, and lay-up processes Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable, hands-on and team-focused What's on Offer 15.50 - 16.00 per hour Overtime available Stable Monday-Friday role (early finish) Varied, interesting work across multiple industries Opportunity to grow with a business that has clear expansion plans Why This Role.
