Join Us in Mason, OH as a Multi‑Spindle Screw Machine Set‑Up TechnicianA day in this role

You arrive before the hum of the shop reaches full stride, blueprint in hand, and head straight to your Acme or Brown & Sharpe. You tool up the machine, dial in feeds and speeds, and run a first piece, comparing every feature to the print. As the job runs, you keep a close eye on dimensions, tweak offsets, and log production. When a hiccup appears, you troubleshoot quickly—whether it’s a guide bushing, a collet, or a form tool—so the line keeps moving and quality stays tight. Between runs, you help a teammate reduce cycle time on a Davenport setup and document improvements so the next changeover goes even smoother.

Where you’ll work & when

• Location: Mason, OH
• Primary schedule option: four 10‑hour shifts starting at 6:00 a.m., Monday–Thursday
• Overtime potential: Fridays
• Alternate schedule option: five 8‑hour days, Monday–Friday

What you’ll tackle

• Set up and run screw machines to consistently produce precision components.
• Read and apply blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to each job.
• Monitor production for quality compliance and make on‑the‑fly adjustments.
• Perform routine maintenance and correct issues to minimize downtime.
• Record production data and maintain clear, accurate documentation.
• Partner with peers to refine processes and raise throughput.
• Follow safety practices and keep your area organized and clean.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining coursework a plus.
• Hands‑on experience setting up and operating screw machines or similar equipment.
• Solid grasp of machining fundamentals and shop math.
• Fluency with prints and technical documents.
• Keen attention to detail and a quality‑first mindset.
• Resourceful problem solver who can work independently when needed.
• Experience with Acmes, Davenports, Brown & Sharpes, or Hydromats.
• Clear communicator and dependable team contributor.
