Recreation Program Management (RPM) is looking for a dependable, enthusiastic Program Assistant to support our Homework Help program and community special events.
This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with school-age children, creating a positive and welcoming environment, and being involved in community programming. The Program Assistant will help facilitate structured homework sessions during the week and assist with special events and activities at various off-site locations.
The ideal candidate is organized, responsible, friendly, and comfortable working with youth while maintaining a safe, structured, and encouraging environment.
QualificationsSpecial Events & Community Programs
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. The Program Assistant will assist with monitoring and supervising youth participants during Homework Help sessions and special events.
Physical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to:This position may work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Special events may involve varying weather conditions, locations, and activity levels. The work environment may range from quiet and structured during Homework Help sessions to active and energetic during community events.
