RebuilderAI builds VRING:ON, a platform that takes a single sketch and produces 3D CAD data a factory can manufacture from. The output is real geometry with real tolerances, ready for tooling, rather than a render that a technical designer has to rebuild from scratch.

Anyone who has worked in footwear knows how a shoe actually gets made. A sketch becomes a 2D pattern. Someone picks a last. A prototype gets built by hand, tooling gets cut, and then come the sample rounds, shipped back and forth between a design studio and a factory eight time zones away. Twelve to eighteen months from concept to retail is normal. So are dozens of physical samples, and so is losing a little of the original design intent at every handoff.

VRING:ON changes where the manufacturing data comes from. A designer brings in a sketch or a concept image, and the platform generates production grade 3D geometry for uppers, midsoles, outsoles and components. That geometry can be graded across the size run, exported into the CAD, CAM and PLM systems a brand already uses, and passed straight to mold makers, cutting and nesting, or additive manufacturing. The factory gets what it needs at the moment of design instead of six weeks later.

Design data is the first piece of a longer plan. After it comes flexible production connected to smart factories, and eventually the Dark Factory, where a design becomes a physical product without a person in the loop.

We are already working with ASICS, a global beauty brand, and a furniture group in Saudi Arabia. VRING:ON won a CES 2026 Innovation Award in FashionTech AI, and we placed in the Top 100 of the Entrepreneurship World Cup 2025.

The role

We have the product and we have reference accounts. What we do not have yet is a commercial engine in the markets where footwear and fashion decisions actually get made.

This is a technical, consultative sale into an industry that has done things the same way for a long time. You might spend a morning with a VP of Product Creation at a global sneaker brand and the afternoon with a development engineer at a Tier 1 factory, and you need to be credible in both rooms. There is no playbook waiting for you. You will write it, and the people we hire after you will use it.

You will report to commercial leadership and work closely with our product and R&D teams in Seoul.

What you will do

Building the market

• Own the sales cycle end to end for footwear and fashion accounts in your region, from the first conversation through pilot, contract and expansion.
• Build pipeline across three kinds of buyer: global brands, ODM and OEM manufacturers, and component and material suppliers.
• Map your territory properly. The footwear and sportswear clusters, the design studios, the sourcing offices, and the factories sitting behind them.
• Run your own outbound. Build the target list, find the right person inside the account, write the message that gets answered, and keep the sequence going until it does.
• Represent RebuilderAI at the trade shows and industry events where these people actually gather.

Selling into product creation

• Run discovery that goes deeper than a demo. Learn how a brand's development calendar, tech pack process, tooling flow and PLM stack work today, and find where VRING:ON takes out cost, sample rounds or weeks.
• Translate between design people, manufacturing people and our engineers.
• Build the business case together with the customer. Sample reduction, development lead time, tooling iterations, material waste, time to market.
• Work deals that pull in design, development, sourcing, manufacturing and IT, where every group measures success differently.

Pilots and rollout

• Structure paid pilots with success criteria agreed in writing before anything starts.
• Coordinate our delivery team through the pilot. The relationship and the result stay yours after the contract is signed.
• Turn successful pilots into multi season agreements, then expand from one product line or one factory into the rest of the organization.

Strategic accounts and manufacturing partners

• Act as the commercial counterpart for partners like ASICS and their manufacturing network. Run the relationship, define requirements with the customer, hold the delivery commitments.
• Develop ODM and OEM manufacturers as a channel in their own right.
• Negotiate pricing, licensing, data ownership and IP terms alongside leadership and legal.

Feeding the market back into the product

• Be the voice of the market inside the company, in a form our engineers can act on. Specific, prioritized, tied to real accounts.
• Tell us what blocks deals and what competitors are promising.
• Contribute to positioning, pricing, sales material and the reference stories that make the next deal easier.

Running the numbers

• Keep the CRM clean and the forecast honest.
• Report pipeline, conversion and revenue against target, and flag a slipping deal early.
• Build the playbook, demo flow, objection handling and ROI model that let us hire behind you.
  

Requirements

• Between 7 and 15 years in B2B sales or business development.
• Direct experience inside the footwear or fashion industry. This is a requirement rather than a preference. You have worked at a brand, a manufacturer, a supplier, or a technology company selling into them, and you know how the industry runs from the inside.
• An active professional network in the industry. You should be able to open doors at brands, manufacturers and suppliers yourself, without waiting for marketing to hand you leads. We will ask about this in the interview, so come ready to talk about which relationships you would use and how.
• A sales approach that belongs to you. Not a process you inherited from a former employer, but a method you built and refined yourself. Which segment you attack first and why. How you get to the right person inside a brand or a factory. What your opening message looks like. How many touches you give an account before you move on. We want to hear it in detail.
• Real experience running prospecting tools yourself. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or whatever equivalent you have used. You should be able to build a target list, enrich it, sequence the outreach and read the numbers coming back without handing the work to someone else. If you have built lists that turned into closed deals, tell us about those.
• A record of closing complex enterprise deals with several stakeholders, where the cycle ran for multiple quarters and the annual contract value reached six figures or more.
• Practical knowledge of how footwear or apparel gets developed and produced. Development calendars, tech packs, BOMs, sample rounds, tooling, sourcing structures. Enough to hold a real conversation with a development lead.
• Comfort with a technical product. You can run the demo yourself, take questions from a skeptical engineer, and know when to bring in a specialist.
• Fluent professional English and the ability to work across time zones with a team in Seoul.
• Willingness to travel roughly 30 to 50 percent inside your region, with occasional trips to Korea and to manufacturing hubs in Asia.
  

Helpful, though not required

• Experience selling 3D, DPC, CAD or PLM software into fashion and footwear. CLO, Browzwear, Style3D, Rhino, Modo, Centric, PTC FlexPLM, Lectra, Autodesk, Dassault or anything similar.
• Familiarity with 3D reconstruction, generative 3D or computer vision, enough to speak honestly about what the technology can and cannot do.
• A hands on footwear development background. Last design, upper pattern engineering, midsole and outsole tooling, grading, mold making, additive manufacturing.
• Relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturers in Vietnam, Indonesia, China, India, Portugal or Italy.
• Startup experience, or having been the first commercial hire in a market.
• Japanese for the Japan role. German, Italian, French or Portuguese for Europe.
  

Where you will be based

We are hiring in the United States, Europe and Japan. Being close to the industry matters more to us than being close to an office.

United States: Portland, Boston, New York or Los Angeles preferred.

Europe: Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal or Switzerland preferred.

Japan: Tokyo, Osaka or Kobe preferred.

The role is remote first, with regular travel to customers and factories and periodic time with the team in Seoul.
