Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate development opportunities, including site feasibility and market analysis.

  • Manage pre-development activities, due diligence, project schedules, and risk assessments.

  • Prepare and submit financing applications, including LIHTC, grants, debt, and equity funding.

  • Coordinate zoning, permitting, entitlements, and regulatory approvals.

  • Work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, lenders, investors, and public agencies.

  • Lead financial modeling, project budgeting, and transaction closings.

  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables through construction closing.

  • Facilitate project handoff to Asset Management upon completion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, Business, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3-5+ years of experience in real estate development, project management, construction management, or related areas.

  • Experience with Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of real estate finance, pro formas, debt/equity structures, zoning, entitlements, and permitting processes.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
