One of the leading companies in the energy sector is seeking for a Project Engineer. The role includesoverseeing the electromechanical aspects of capital projects, managing contractors andtechnical suppliers, evaluating technical proposals, and ensuring the reliable operationand maintenance of building electromechanical systems, site utilities and productionsupport equipment across the company's facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, procure, organize and monitor electromechanical engineering studies and projects related to new building construction, facility expansions and infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate external consultants, contractors and suppliers during the design,permitting, tendering, procurement construction and closeout phases.
• Review and evaluate technical studies, engineering designs, contractorquotations and technical proposals, ensuring compliance with companyrequirements, applicable standards and project specifications.
• Manage the installation, commissioning and closeout documentationof electromechanical systems, including medium and low voltageelectrical systems, lighting, special gases, HVAC, plumbing installations,fire protection, lifting, security and IT syst
• Supervise contractors and construction works to ensure compliance with designrequirements, technical specifications, quality standards, project schedules,budgets and HSE requirements.
• Plan, procure and supervise oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities, both inhouse and outsourced , for building electromechanical systems, utilities and production support equipment..
• Monitor the performance, reliability and lifecycle efficiency, of electromechanicalinstallations and equipment, identifying opportunities for continuousimprovement, energy efficiency and cost optimization.
• Prepare technical specifications, scopes of work, tender documentation, projectschedules and progress reports.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, HSE, Procurement and other internaldepartments to prioritize projects and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, statutory regulations,environmental requirements and company policies.
• Support the continuous development, modernization and sustainability of thecompany's industrial facilities and mechanical infrastructure.

Experience

• Experience in project tendering and contract administration, constructionmanagement and supervision, commissioning and closeout procedures
• Professional experience in start to end implementation of industrial constructionprojects and maintenance of industrial facilities.
• Design management experience in electromechanical building services, utilitiesand industrial electromechanical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Good knowledge of electromechanical engineering standards,industrial installations and maintenance practices.
• Very good command of Greek and English
