Position Overview

Radiant Path Wellness & Counseling is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting therapy sessions with couples and families, providing an environment for open communication and emotional healing.
  • Assessing and diagnosing mental health issues and creating individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.
  • Facilitating therapy for families experiencing a range of challenges, such as alcohol abuse, psychological distress, and relational conflicts.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address complex family dynamics, grief, loss, and adjustment issues.
  • Maintaining detailed records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborating with other members of the clinical team to ensure comprehensive care and referrals to additional resources as necessary.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and training sessions to stay current with best practices in the field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working closely with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will support individuals and families dealing with various issues such as:

  • Substance abuse and addiction
  • Trauma and psychological abuse
  • Grief and loss
  • Family conflicts and communication barriers
  • Adjustment challenges with blended families, divorce, and separation
  • Stress related to job and medical issues
Qualifications

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

  • Hold a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Possess a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong empathy, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to upholding ethical standards in clinical practice.
  • Proficient in using telehealth platforms and digital tools for therapeutic sessions.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will have an advantage:

  • Experience working with diverse populations and ability to adapt techniques to meet varying cultural needs.
  • Prior experience in a clinical practice or community health setting.
  • Knowledge of the latest evidence-based practices in marriage and family therapy.
  • Experience conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
Compensation and Benefits
