Paratransit Driver/Fixed Route CDL Bus Driver - Shippensburg, PAVehicle Pick Up/Drop Off Location: Both Shippensburg University Campus, behind Memorial Auditorium (on Adams Drive, after/or before Dauphin Drive depending on travel) - and/or - 1601 Ritner Highway, Carlisle PA 17013Office Location: 1615 Ritner Highway, Carlisle PA 17013Pay: $19.00 when driving Paratransit Operator - $ 21.00 when driving Fixed RouteFull Benefits Package (Health, Dental, Vision, Simplified Employee Pension, Paid Holidays, Paid time off, Company provided life and disability)Schedule: 8 to 10 hour shift. Shift will fall within our operating hours of Monday thru Friday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and Saturdays 12:30 PM - 6:30 PM. Requirements - Must have this COMPLETELY at time of application for this position: Already have CDL Class A or B WITH Passenger Endorsement ("P" Endorsement), AND Air Brake Restriction Lifted (No "L", No "Z" and No "N" Restrictions on CDL). The job of a rabbittransit operator is more important than providing a trip from point A to point B. Our operators are essential workers who carry out the Authority's mission of helping people gain mobility. Throughout the day, our Fixed Route operators safely and courteously transport passengers along predetermined routes. Throughout the day, our Shared Ride Operators safely and courteously transport passengers where they need to go. Responsibilities include completing inspections, maintaining accurate records, assisting passengers with wheelchairs and other mobility devices, receiving and accounting for fares, using radio communications, following emergency procedures, and completing other activities assigned by the Operations Supervisor/ Site Manager. By providing access to safe, reliable transportation, as an operator - you can connect people to places they once believed were beyond their reach.
