We are growing and looking for a skilled welder/fabricator to join us in building high-quality refractory steel forms and assemblies.

Job Description
We’re seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator with strong technical skills and a solid work ethic. You’ll fabricate steel forms and assemblies to tight tolerances, working from engineering drawings or templates. You’ll be part of a small, capable team that values innovation, precision, and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate steel molds, forms, and frames for castable refractory products
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and templates
  • Perform MIG and occasional stick welding with strong weld quality on structural 1/4"+ A36 steel, rebar, and anchors.
  • Operate cutting, grinding, and forming tools (acetylene torch, band saw, hand grinders, rolling machines, etc.)
  • Conduct quality checks for welds and final fit
  • Assist with custom fabrication, jig creation, and shop improvements
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
  • 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
  • Proficient with MIG welding; stick welding a plus
  • Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
  • Must be able to lift 40+ lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical labor in a shop environment
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license
