We foster a team culture built on expertise, accountability, and continuous improvement—making RTEC a place where talented professionals can build rewarding careers.
RTEC Treecare is looking for a highly organized and systems-minded Business Operations Manager to help drive operational excellence across our growing company. This role connects our sales, scheduling, production, plant health care, and office teams to ensure work flows efficiently from sale to completion. If you're passionate about improving processes, developing people, and building systems that help teams succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities

  • Build and improve workflows that increase efficiency across departments.
  • Standardize processes and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Partner with sales, scheduling, production, and office teams to keep work moving efficiently.
  • Supervise Customer Service Representatives and office staff.
  • Ensure accurate client communication, invoicing, documentation, and administrative processes.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards to support leadership decision-making.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects, new systems, and company initiatives.
  • Support leadership in executing company priorities and improving accountability.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience in operations, office management, project management, or business administration.
  • Experience leading teams in green-industry, trades, landscaping, or other field-based business preferred.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with CRM, scheduling, or field service software (SingleOps experience is a plus).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
We Offer
  • Competitive salary with opportunities for professional growth.
  • Benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and holidays.
  • Paid training and ongoing professional development.
  • Opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of a well-established company.
  • A collaborative work environment that values accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
