About the Role:
Royal Divine Services LLC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Worker (DCW) to join our growing team in Canton, MI. In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who need daily support and assistance. If you have a passion for helping others and a heart for caregiving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to individual care plans
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment
- Monitor and document client health, behavior, and daily activities
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and community outings
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Direct Care Worker, CNA, HHA, or in a similar caregiving role preferred
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a client-first attitude
- Ability to follow individualized care plans and document accurately
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
