The Night Auditor Front Desk role is a vital position responsible for managing overnight front desk operations and conducting the night audit process. This position ensures accurate financial reconciliation, supports guest services, and maintains hotel security during the nighttime hours. The Night Auditor reports to the Night Manager and Front Desk Manager and plays a key role in handling guest emergencies and overall communication with staff and guests throughout an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk operations including guest check-in and check-out
• Conduct nightly audit tasks using standard PMS software for accurate financial reconciliation
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
• Manage room reservations and update booking statuses
• Provide excellent customer service ensuring guest satisfaction and problem resolution
• Communicate effectively with management, including Night Manager and Front Desk Manager
• Take full responsibility for managing guest emergencies during the night shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in hospitality or hotel front desk operations
