Rise Resource Center

RISE was established in 2019 out of compassion and perseverance. We are a unique Arizona state approved private day school that focuses on the students’ strengths, talents, and abilities. It is important to us that we emphasize support in communication and sensory regulation, while providing an academic curriculum. Students participate regularly in community outings and other activities like yoga, art, PE and culinary. RISE is a highly staffed program, with students being in a small group or supported by a 1:1. We currently have a campus in the Verde Valley with 50+ students and are expanding to serve the Tri-Cities Area.

In this position you will collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals and therapists to help develop foundational skills for future success.

Requirements:

• Special Education Teacher certification
• Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Attend training starting July 20th

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work with a team of educators
• Ability to support communication and sensory needs for individuals with various disabilities
• Ability to manage and develop multiple IEP, using IEP Pro
• Whole group lesson planning
• Pull out services with 1:1 teaching
• Small group instruction
