HumanResources Generalist
Position Summary:
Thisposition reports to the Human Resources Manager and is responsible for variousHR functions. This position will be responsible for personnel records, hiring/terminationprocesses, compiling reports, processing payroll, and benefit administration. Thisposition is responsible for providing assistance to the Human Resources Managerand the Senior Human Resources Generalist in daily activities and specialprojects.
Essential Functions:
  • Conduct talent acquisitions and onboarding for the bank. Including but not limited to: Sourcing qualified applicants and schedule/conduct interviews.
  • Manage that the pre-employment process is completed and cleared for hire in a timely manner.
  • Manage all the new hire documents for completion.
  • Manage all benefit and 401K enrollments.
  • Maintain and complete company Affirmative Action Plan - Work directly with vendor to provide documentation annually.
  • Complete and upload yearly ACA reports, EEO-1 reports, and VETS 4212 reports annually.
  • Complete call reports monthly and quarterly.
  • Complete internal employee job transitions and employee company officer promotions.
  • Complete employee banking audits.
  • Ability to assist employees with any questions relating to all HR functions and Employee Banking.
  • Manage employee loan requests. Confirm accuracy of all collected documents needed to decision the loan.
  • Conduct employee annual and 90-day performance reviews.
  • Review, process, and audit monthly insurance billing against payroll deductions and previous monthly billing.
  • Coordinate bank's Wellness Program.
  • Review, input, and process payroll semi-monthly for the entire company electronically using company HRIS platform.
  • Maintain working knowledge of company HRIS platform.
  • Prepare New Year documents such as Holiday Schedule and Payroll Schedule.
  • Maintain working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and make sure company policies stay compliant with local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate employee records and with any internal and external department audits, i.e. payroll, HR, 401K.
  • Represent the Bank at Career Fairs and other Recruiting activities as determined by management.
  • Serve as a back-up to process employee bank transactions/loans.
  • Serve as a back-up to all Senior HR Generalist functions.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Experienceand Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,or related field and knowledge of Human Resources functions with at least threeto five years' experience in a human resources department preferred. Alternate preparation such as an associate'sdegree with over five years of direct HR experience may be substituted. Human Resourceexperience in banking industry preferred.
