Job description
Description:
Technician II, R/E is responsible for effectively performing R&E routine work associated with heavy aircraft A, B, C and D checks.
What you will be responsible for:
Able to troubleshoot aircraft avionics and electrical systems using approved technical data with minimal supervision.
Detailed knowledge of aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
Understand engineering methodology for systems installations.
Demonstrated proficiency in performing avionics and electrical modifications.
All other duties as assigned.
What you will need to be successful in this role:
This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum).
High school diploma or general education degree GED required.
Must have an A&P, FCC license or repairman certificate.
Knowledge of FAA regulations including 14 CFR.
Minimum Two (2) years previous experience required.
Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing)
