REEB RIGGING

Reeb Rigging is seeking a skilled, safety-focused Crane Operator to support daily operations in our rigging yard. This role operates cranes and related equipment to safely move, stage, load, and unload rigging materials, equipment, and structural components.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate mobile, overhead, or yard cranes safely and efficiently.

• Inspect crane equipment before use and report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Lift, move, position, and stage materials in coordination with riggers and yard personnel.

• Follow lift plans, load charts, hand signals, and radio communications.

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and organizing the rigging yard.

• Maintain clean work areas and comply with all company and jobsite safety requirements.

• Support general yard and equipment duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior crane-operator experience in a rigging, construction, industrial, or materials-handling environment.

• Current crane-operator certification preferred; ability to meet applicable certification requirements.

• Working knowledge of safe lifting practices, rigging principles, load charts, and equipment inspections.

• Ability to communicate clearly with riggers, drivers, and supervisors.

• Reliable attendance and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required and work safely around heavy equipment.

• Valid driver's license required.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Pay will be based on experience and willingness to work at other required tasks in the yard. This is a permanent long-term position at the same location in Baton Rouge, LA every day (Guaranteed 40 hrs. a week).
