About the Position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and performing maintenance operations to ensure that all properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role provides hands-on support and leadership to maintenance technicians while ensuring timely completion of service requests and adherence to quality standards.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay Details: $26-28hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Provide direction and support to on-site maintenance technicians, ensuring work is completed efficiently and in accordance with company standards. 
  • Maintenance Operations: Receive, prioritize, and complete maintenance requests for apartment units, common areas, and building exteriors. 
  • Property Inspections: Conduct daily property walks with maintenance technicians to identify repair needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Work Order Management: Enter, review, and schedule work orders to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks. 
  • Repairs and Upkeep: Perform or oversee a variety of repairs, including interior and exterior painting, drywall, electrical, minor appliance and plumbing repairs, furniture moving, and pest control assistance. 
  • Unit Turnovers: Collaborate with the Community Manager to ensure all vacant units are prepared and ready for occupancy within established timelines (typically 14 days). 
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment, systems, and building infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend asset life. 
  • System Oversight: Understand and monitor the operation of fire control, water, and other building systems, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with safety standards. 
  • Grounds and Janitorial Care: Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of the property through regular groundskeeping and interior/exterior janitorial duties. 
  • Procurement: Purchase supplies, equipment, and contracted services as needed to support routine maintenance activities and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • 5 years experience as a maintenance supervisor. 
  • High energy team player that is a self-starter that can work proactively with limited supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance. 
  • On-call flexibility
  • Successful completion of background check.
  • Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines
