#1 Cochran is actively seeking an experienced General Sales Manager for our Boardman Nissan Showroom!

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of managing a successful high-volume import showroom and leading a talented sales team. This individual will become proficient in driving an efficient omnichannel customer experience through our all-new, cutting-edge EXPRESSWAY sales process, and will have a thorough understanding of digital commerce and supporting technologies. Additionally, a strong focus on delivering outstanding customer care is critical in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and implement customer enthusiasm and owner loyalty strategies

Manage sales department profitably

Manage relationships with internal departments and external resources

Prepare for and conduct departmental meetings to convey information

Set the vision and philosophy for departmental operations to foster and support dealership customer satisfaction objectives

Manage new and used vehicle inventory

Maintain internal control over inventory to prevent theft, vandalism, and lot damage

Maintain a professional working relationship with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers

Contribute to a cohesive dealership team atmosphere, working toward identified dealership goals

QUALIFICATIONS

• Dealership sales management experience required
• Must be interested in training/mentoring additional sales professionals and encouraging a strong, inclusive team culture
• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
• Tech savvy with solid experience in handling internet and phone inquiries
