The Handyman Assistant supports residential projects by assisting skilled tradespeople in a variety of essential maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires hands-on work across multiple trades including drywall, plumbing, tile installation, and painting, along with site preparation and upkeep. The position reports to a single supervisor and requires occasional travel to job sites using personal transportation. A willingness to learn and collaborate with a team is key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drywall repair and installation
• Perform basic plumbing tasks
• Support painting and tile installation projects
• Maintain and organize tools and equipment
• Prepare and clean job sites for work
• Handle materials and supplies on-site
• Follow safety guidelines and compliance requirements
• Provide general assistance to skilled tradespeople
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of work areas

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in handyman or maintenance work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic carpentry knowledge
• Experience with drywall repair and basic plumbing
• Familiarity with painting and tile installation
• Proficient in tool handling and maintenance
