Your Opportunity, Your Team

The Solutions Engineer supports QVC's Broadcast and Media teams by designing, maintaining, and improving the technology platforms that support their work. This is a project-based role that partners closely with engineers, operations, IT, production stakeholders, and vendors to solve technical challenges and prototype new technologies.

Where You'll Work

This role is onsite and will require you to work from our West Chester, PA location daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Lead project-based engineering work across broadcast and media systems, helping design, support, optimize, and implement solutions across existing and emerging infrastructure.

  • Evaluate, test, and prototype new technologies to support future-state workflows, improve scalability, and strengthen operational resilience.

  • Partner with stakeholders, vendors, Procurement, and Legal to clarify requirements, assess solutions, and support RFP/RFI processes.

  • Monitor system capacity, usage, and performance, making recommendations to improve reliability, redundancy, uptime, and long-term supportability.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for live production and development environments, including escalated issues and critical broadcast incidents.

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, networking devices, and vendor-specific broadcast/media software.

  • Support core broadcast technologies including video routers, audio mixers, cameras, intercom, playout/automation, and media systems.

  • Develop standards, procedures, security settings, and system documentation while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in a corporate or broadcast IT environment supporting servers, applications, and multi-tiered technical systems.

  • Expertise in network administration, Windows server administration, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.

  • Knowledge of firewalls, system monitoring tools, SQL databases, virtualization platforms, and security administration.

  • The ability to analyze technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and respond quickly during live broadcast situations.

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience; certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft, or VMware.
