Job Summary:
Quick Services LLC (QSL) is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to drive mission execution in support of national security objectives. The role requires a strategic communicator who can work with both technical and non-technical partners, overseeing project operations and ensuring successful project completion in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
• Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active, current TS/SCI with polygraph
• Minimum of 12 years relevant experience with BS/BA
• 12 years of experience, may have supervisory or management experience
• Proven data science background with experience using multiple programming languages such as Python, R, and Ruby
• Ability to maintain superior customer service and effectively manage project completion, particularly in changing environments where adaptation is key based on new information
• Demonstrated experience successfully working across organizational silos to support whole-of-government activities
• Ability to confidently engage partners in a professional, collaborative manner
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
Preferred:
• Knowledge of IC policies and procedures and the ability to apply that knowledge to effectively meet customer needs
• Experience leading teams by participating in hiring and onboarding, driving individual and team performance, supporting growth and development, etc.
