Description - Daily Responsibilities
  • Conduct a variety of clinical laboratory tests-including advanced analyses in chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols meticulously.
  • Evaluate test results thoroughly, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and ensure all lab instruments are maintained and calibrated properly.
  • Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all lab procedures, mentor new staff or students, and ensure high standards of lab quality are upheld.
  • Foster a safe, clean working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Education Requirement
  • A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health discipline along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
Certification Requirements
  • ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
  • Maintain certification continuously while employed.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork with healthcare professionals.
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate problem-solving abilities in dynamic or high-pressure environments.
  • Sound organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, particularly in quality control and professional documentation.
