Work Environment

The position is situated in a fast-paced surgical center that values teamwork and collaboration. You will work closely with a tenured team of OB/GYNs and other Advanced Practice Clinicians, exclusively focusing on outpatient care. Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own patient panel, providing direct care and ensuring continuity of care.
• Support physician overflow, allowing for efficient patient management and improved access to care.
• Engage in full clinic-based practices with no on-call responsibilities, prioritizing work-life balance.
• Perform relevant procedures including, but not limited to: IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, women’s wellness checks, colposcopies, and circumcisions (once trained).
• Participate in and contribute to the Advanced Practice Clinician council, fostering professional networking and support.
• Access ongoing leadership training and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant will primarily work with a diverse population of obstetrics and gynecology patients. This includes managing routine gynecological exams, prenatal and postnatal care, and addressing various women's health issues. You will play a critical role in enhancing patient lives by providing compassionate and comprehensive care tailored to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant and an unrestricted state medical license to practice in New Jersey.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination status, in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Proficient in active listening, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, particularly in Obstetrics and Gynecology, is preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) systems enhances productivity and patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is USD 140,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience.
