Quest Health Center in San Diego, California, is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our vibrant healthcare team. Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our well-established hospital facility in beautiful San Diego, California. You will operate in a dynamic, clinic-based practice that offers a collaborative atmosphere free from on-call responsibilities. Your work schedule will encompass a 5-day work week, totaling 40 hours, allowing for a balanced personal and professional life.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own patient panel, providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care.
• Support the overflow of work from attending physicians, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
• Conduct medical procedures including IUD placements, Nexplanon insertions, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, as well as women's wellness exams and colposcopies, where applicable.
• Participate in the APC council to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.
• Engage in leadership training and professional development opportunities to advance your career.

Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant Certification and unrestricted State Medical License.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory, with adherence to local regulations regarding booster requirements.
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program, with a Master's Degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in obstetrics and gynecology is essential.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR is advantageous, contributing to efficient patient documentation and communication.
• Strong skills in active listening, critical thinking, effective communication, time management, and decision-making.

Preferred Experience

While one year of experience is required, candidates with additional obstetrics and gynecology experience are highly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with advanced medical practices and procedures relevant to women's health will be considered a definite asset in this position.

Compensation and Benefits

Quest Health Center offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
