Role Description Owner Operators at Quantellect LLC are responsible for safely operating their own commercial vehicles to pick up, transport, and deliver freight across assigned routes in and around Northern Virginia, VA. Day-to-day tasks include planning routes, managing schedules, completing required logs and documentation, and maintaining communication with dispatch and operations staff. The role involves performing basic vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and transportation regulations, and representing the company professionally with customers and partners. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Northern Virginia, VA, requiring regular presence in the local area for pickups, deliveries, and coordination with the company’s operations team.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (as required for vehicle type) and a clean driving record, with a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience as an Owner Operator or commercial driver, including familiarity with freight handling, route planning, and time management.
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and coordinate maintenance to keep equipment in safe, reliable operating condition.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with dispatch, customers, and team members in a professional, respectful manner.
• Knowledge of local and regional routes in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas, and comfort using navigation and mobile communication tools.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing the business aspects of being an Owner Operator (e.g., fuel management, recordkeeping).
• Willingness to work full-time schedules that may include varied hours, with reliability in attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, such as sitting for extended periods and, when needed, assisting with loading or unloading within safe limits.
