Quality Facility Solutions is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to join our team. The selected candidate will patrol and secure assigned premises, maintain a safe environment, and manage security operations to protect staff, assets, and patrons. This role requires a professional demeanor and a focus on facility safety and loss prevention.
Responsibilities
Monitor premises and conduct foot patrols to prevent theft, violence, and infractions of rules
Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and maximum security
Warn violators of premise rules and regulations and handle compliance issues professionally
Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious, unauthorized, or criminal acts
Report any facility issues including safety hazards, fire hazards, and leaking water pipes
Request emergency personnel and contact law enforcement for high risk situations
Provide excellent customer service and concierge assistance to visitors and building staff
Qualifications
Active Unarmed Security Guard License is required for this position
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, loss prevention, or other related facility services fields
Familiarity with security equipment, surveillance systems, and patrol procedures
Ability to handle physical workload including standing and walking for long periods
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
