Our focus is on delivering exceptional mental health care that empowers clients to achieve their fullest potential. As a mental health counselor, you will conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to individuals facing various mental health challenges.

About the Organization

At Pure Life Psychotherapy Services, we are committed to offering a nurturing therapeutic environment that emphasizes personalized mental health care. Located in Stockton, California, our community health clinic serves a diverse population, making a positive impact on the lives of our clients. Our team is composed of experienced and compassionate licensed therapists who are passionate about helping clients navigate through trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.

Work Environment

This is a remote role, allowing you to work comfortably from home while connecting with clients through secure teletherapy platforms. We provide a collaborative and supportive work setting where our therapists can easily consult with colleagues, share insights, and maintain a high standard of care. Administrative support is also available for scheduling, billing, and insurance processes, allowing you to focus on your therapeutic interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs and challenges, using standardized tools and techniques.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans that leverage individual strengths, utilizing various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and psychodynamic approaches.
  • Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions, with a focus on fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere that promotes healing.
  • Establish therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients and monitor their progress regularly to adjust treatment methods as necessary.
  • Conduct teletherapy sessions to accommodate clients who may face accessibility challenges, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions and treatment progress to comply with ethical and legal standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and supervision opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse client base, including adults, adolescents, and families. You will have the opportunity to foster meaningful connections with individuals who may be dealing with trauma, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. The ability to provide culturally competent and individualized care is essential, as our clients represent a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude in therapeutic interactions.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches will be given preference. Familiarity with teletherapy tools and experience working in community mental health settings is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Benefits include:

  • Comprehensive health benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Sign-on bonus for new licensed therapists joining our team.
  • Flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance.
  • Generous continuing education reimbursement to encourage professional development.
  • Professional autonomy in client treatment while supported by administrative staff.
