We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Pure Wellness Chiropractic Clinic in Columbia, Maryland. Work Environment

At Pure Wellness Chiropractic Clinic, our work setting is characterized by a collaborative, onsite outpatient office environment in Columbia. You will work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, within a team that values both clinical expertise and personal connection. Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and therapeutic tools that support a variety of treatment approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine appropriate interventions and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with physicians' recommendations.
• Administer a diverse range of therapies and modalities, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training, to address patients' unique needs.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, ensuring patient inquiries and billing procedures are handled efficiently and compassionately.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to devise evidence-based care strategies, aiming to maximize patient outcomes and expedite recovery.
• Provide therapeutic care in both the clinic and, when necessary, in the patients’ homes, ensuring continuity of care with the established plan of treatment.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers to foster self-management and enhance rehabilitation efforts outside of therapy sessions.
• Meet minimum utilization goals while continuously striving for business objectives and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client focus at our clinic includes a diverse patient population with various needs, encompassing orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Our therapists are trained to develop specialized care plans that address each individual’s circumstances, promoting recovery at every life stage. You will engage with patients from different backgrounds, solidifying their trust and fostering long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• An active State License in Physical Therapy, allowing for practice in Maryland.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with patients and team members.
• Proficient computer skills, including word processing, to document patient evaluations and write reports clearly.
• A passion for establishing meaningful relationships with patients to enhance their experiences and meet their functional goals.
• A commitment to community engagement, continuously building networks to enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience

While every professional background is valued, candidates with experience in outpatient settings, particularly in managing orthopedic or sport-related injuries, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with evidence-based practice and a history of using innovative therapeutic methods will greatly benefit our patient outcomes and clinic reputation.

Compensation and Benefits

Pure Wellness Chiropractic Clinic offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes performance-based incentives, health insurance, an employee assistance program, and generous PTO.
