Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, focusing on intensity, frequency, and duration.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, catering to their unique goals and preferences.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) during sessions.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques to promote emotional well-being.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders to enhance treatment methodologies and client outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous records in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to continually refine therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression and anxiety. Qualifications

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
